Take-Two Interactive has set the date for its last earnings call before Grand Theft Auto VI arrives. The company will report its second-quarter fiscal 2027 results on Monday, November 9, after the US market closes, with a conference call at 4:30 p.m. Eastern, ten days before GTA 6 launches on November 19.
The announcement itself is a routine scheduling notice. It does not mention GTA 6 at all. It only confirms the reporting date, the time and the call-in details. Still, the internet pays close attention whenever the company hosts these calls, simply because Take-Two owns Rockstar Games, the studio behind Grand Theft Auto. These calls have become the main investor window into the game.
It's worth noting though that the quarter being reported, the three months ending September 30, obviously closes before the game ships, so these results will not include a single dollar of post-launch GTA 6 sales. Those sales figures arrive in the following quarter.
So why circle the date? Because it is the last time Take-Two's leadership takes investor questions in public before launch. On recent calls the company has reaffirmed the November 19 date and talked through its expectations for the year. The November 9 call is management's final scheduled chance to set the tone for the biggest release in the company's history. We are not predicting what they will say, only that this is the last public word from top executives, including Strauss Zelnick, before launch.
This completes a run of investor dates we have tracked through the countdown. August brought the first earnings call after GTA 6 pre-orders opened, September brought the annual shareholder meeting, where CEO Strauss Zelnick confirmed the game ships single-player at launch, meaning no online mode or microtransactions on day one. November 9 is the last of those investor dates before launch.
Whatever November 9 brings, it is the final scheduled word from Take-Two before GTA 6 arrives on November 19. The quarter being reported ends before launch, so the real numbers, the ones everyone wants, will not show up until the next call in early 2027.
For now, mark November 9. It is the last investor date on the board before the countdown runs out. There's a chance, though nothing confirmed, that Zelnick puts a number on by how much GTA 6 pre-orders exceeded expectations.
