As of today, Rockstar has not published an official GTA 6 cheat code list.
No official GTA 6 cheat codes are confirmed yet. This page is the GTA BOOM cheats hub for GTA 6 and it will be updated first when codes can be verified in actual GTA 6 gameplay.
Until then, every platform note below as the current status and our historical expectations, rather than a confirmed cheat list.

GTA 6 Expected Input Methods
Based on GTA series history, GTA 6 cheats will use one or both of these methods:
- Controller combos entered quickly during normal gameplay
- In-game phone dialing for number cheat strings that look like phone numbers
These are expectations based on prior Rockstar titles, not confirmed GTA 6 behavior. We will separate confirmed controller inputs, phone numbers, activation notes, and trophy or achievement impacts once they can be verified.
GTA 6 Cheats for PS5
GTA 6 PS5 cheat codes are not confirmed yet. When verified codes exist, this section will use PlayStation-first notation and will list the exact PS5 input for each cheat.
PS5 Input Method + Notation Plan
- Controller combo format: D-pad and face-button sequence using PlayStation labels, such as
Left, Right, L1, R1, Trianglestyle notation. - Phone format: exact in-game number string plus activation confirmation text.
- Verification format: whether the cheat works during missions, whether it can be toggled off, whether a restart or reload is required, and whether trophies are affected.

- Uncertain: Money cheat and long-duration invincibility behavior

GTA 6 Cheats for Xbox Series X|S
GTA 6 Xbox Series X|S cheat codes are not confirmed yet. When verified codes exist, this section will use Xbox-native notation and will list the exact Xbox input for each cheat.

- Controller combo format: D-pad, LB/RB, triggers, and face-button pattern using Xbox labels, such as
Left, Right, LB, RB, Ystyle notation. - Phone format: exact dial string and activation confirmation message.
- Verification format: achievement-session impact, mission compatibility, deactivation behavior, and whether a reload is required.

The series gives us precedent, not proof. In our published GTA BOOM cheat catalog across all previous Grand Theft Auto titles, the structured cheat entries currently break down as follows:

- GTA San Andreas: 121 cheat entries

Will GTA 6 have cheat codes?
Rockstar has not confirmed the GTA 6 cheat list yet. Every mainline GTA entry from GTA 3 through GTA 5 included cheats, so we expect GTA 6 to continue the tradition, but we will not mark any code confirmed until it is verified.
Will GTA 6 cheats work on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S?
GTA 6 launches on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, so those are the platforms this page will cover first. The exact inputs and any platform differences are not confirmed yet.
Will GTA 6 cheats disable trophies or achievements?
Historically, Rockstar has disabled trophies or achievements during cheat-enabled sessions. GTA 6 specifics are not confirmed yet, so keep a clean save if you plan to use cheats after launch.
Will GTA 6 have a money cheat?
A GTA 6 money cheat is unconfirmed. Some older GTA games included money-related cheats, while GTA 5 did not, so we are treating this as unknown until launch verification.
Will GTA 6 cheats work in multiplayer?
GTA cheat codes have historically been for single-player Story Mode only. Rockstar has not detailed GTA 6's multiplayer component yet, but cheat codes are not intended for online multiplayer environments.
