GTA BOOM Community Guidelines
Our community is where GTA players help each other out, ask and answer questions on our guides, and talk about the latest news. Keep it useful and keep it decent and you are welcome here.
These guidelines apply everywhere you can post, including questions and answers on guides and comments on news articles.
The short version
Be helpful, stay on topic, and treat other players the way you would want to be treated. Almost everything below comes back to one of those.
What makes a good post
- Ask clear questions and give honest, accurate answers.
- If you are not sure, say so.
- Stay on the topic of the guide or article you are posting under.
- Share what actually worked for you. Specifics help other players.
- Disagree without being a jerk about it.
What is not allowed
- Harassment and hate. No personal attacks, bullying, slurs, or hate aimed at anyone based on who they are. Argue the point, not the person.
- Spam and self-promotion. No advertising, repeated posting, link dropping, or pushing your own channel, server, or service.
- GTA Online cheating and modding. Single-player cheats are fine to discuss. Promoting mod menus, money lobbies, or tools that affect other players in GTA Online is not, because it gets accounts banned and ruins the game for everyone else.
- Scams and misinformation. No fake money codes, phishing, survey scams, or knowingly false information. If a cheat needs your details or your login, it is a scam.
- Piracy and illegal content. No links to cracked copies, no account selling or trading, no real-money trading that breaks the game's terms, and nothing else illegal.
- Adult and graphic content. No sexual, obscene, or graphic material.
- Privacy violations. Do not post anyone's personal information, do not share private conversations, and be careful with your own sensitive details too.
- Impersonation. Do not pretend to be GTA BOOM staff, Rockstar, Take-Two, or another person.
How moderation works
- Posts may be checked automatically and reviewed by our team.
- Some posts are held for review before they appear, especially from newer accounts.
- Posts that break these guidelines can be hidden or removed, and repeated or serious breaches can cost you the ability to post.
- See something that breaks the rules? Use the report option on the post and our team will take a look.
- Serious or illegal content is escalated, preserved, and reported to the relevant authorities.
A note on advice
Answers and comments come from other players and from our staff, and we cannot guarantee every one is correct. Use your own judgment, especially before doing anything that affects your account or your save file.
Changes
We may update these guidelines as the community grows. The current version always lives on this page.
