Los Santos Drug Wars is a downloadable content (DLC) expansion for GTA Online. Released on December 13, 2022, the update introduced a new multi-part storyline. Players team up with Dax and his eclectic crew, the Fooliganz, as they endeavor to establish and dominate the psychedelic drug trade in Los Santos. The DLC is split into two main story segments: First Dose and Last Dose.

How to start Los Santos Drug Wars?

To begin the Los Santos Drug Wars storyline, players must be in a Freemode session where they can receive phone calls. Ron Jakowski will eventually call, tipping the player off about a new situation. After the call, a new 'R' marker will appear on the map over Liquor Ace in Sandy Shores. Meeting Ron at this location will trigger a cutscene and initiate the first mission of the "First Dose" series, titled "Welcome to the Troupe." This marks the player's introduction to Dax and the Fooliganz and officially starts their journey in the Los Santos Drug Wars.

How many Los Santos Drug Wars missions are there?

The Los Santos Drug Wars storyline comprises a total of 11 core missions. These are divided into two parts:

First Dose: This initial chapter consists of six missions that introduce the Fooliganz and set up their nascent drug enterprise.

Last Dose: This concluding chapter, released later, contains five missions that resolve the storyline and see the player contending with new and returning adversaries.

What are the First Dose missions?

What is the Acid Lab?

The Acid Lab is a new mobile business introduced in the Los Santos Drug Wars DLC. It allows players to produce and sell Acid, generating income. The lab is housed in the rear of a large, customizable vehicle, the MTL Brickade 6x6, which also comes with a separate delivery motorcycle, the Maibatsu Manchez Scout C. Players manage the production by sourcing supplies and then distributing the finished product through sell missions.

How to get the Acid Lab?

To acquire the Acid Lab, players must:

  • Complete all six "First Dose" missions. The final mission, "Off the Rails," involves stealing the MTL Brickade 6x6 which will house the lab.
  • After completing "Off the Rails," players must steal the necessary Lab Equipment. This is a separate setup mission where players raid a designated location to secure three pallets of equipment.
  • Once the equipment is delivered to the Freakshop (the Fooliganz' new headquarters), players must speak to Mutt, a character at the Freakshop, and pay GTA$750,000 to install the Acid Lab in the Brickade 6x6.

Once these steps are completed, the Acid Lab business will be operational.

How to upgrade the Acid Lab?

The Acid Lab, specifically the MTL Brickade 6x6, can be upgraded at the Freakshop. There are two main types of upgrades:

  • Equipment Upgrade: This is the most crucial upgrade for the business. It increases the production speed and value of the Acid. To unlock the ability to purchase this upgrade, players must first complete are Fooligan Jobs?|10 Fooligan Jobs]. After completing the prerequisite jobs, the Equipment Upgrade can be purchased from Mutt at the Freakshop for GTA$250,000.

  • Steal Supplies: Players can initiate Supply Missions by speaking to Mutt. These missions involve retrieving supplies through various means, such as raiding rival operations or collecting specific ingredients. Completing these missions is free but takes more time and effort. Occasionally, completing a supply mission yourself can provide a temporary boost to production speed.

How to sell Acid Lab products?

Once Acid has been produced, players can launch Sell Missions from the Acid Lab inside the Brickade 6x6. These missions involve delivering the Acid to buyers across Los Santos and Blaine County. The Maibatsu Manchez Scout C is often best used for these deliveries thanks to its agility. Sell missions vary in difficulty and the amount of product to be delivered. Selling in a populated lobby often grants a high-demand bonus, increasing the payout.

Who is Mutt?

Mutt is a new character introduced in the Los Santos Drug Wars DLC. He is an associate of Dax and the Fooliganz and the lead technician for the Acid Lab. Mutt is responsible for setting up the Acid Lab in the player's Brickade 6x6 (for a fee) and helps manage its operations, including sourcing supplies and facilitating upgrades. He can be found at the Freakshop.

What are Fooligan Jobs?

Fooligan Jobs are Freemode missions that players can request from Dax after completing the first First Dose mission, "Welcome to the Troupe." These jobs involve various activities to disrupt rival drug operations and further the Fooliganz's agenda. Tasks can include destroying rival supplies, eliminating targets, sabotaging equipment, and more. There are five different types of Fooligan Jobs. How to start Fooligan Jobs?

To start Fooligan Jobs:

Ensure you have completed the "First Dose - Welcome to the Troupe" mission.

Open your in-game phone and call Dax from your contacts list.

Select the "Request Fooligan Job" option. Dax will then assign you a random job.

What are The Last Dose missions?

The Last Dose missions are the concluding chapter of the Los Santos Drug Wars storyline. This series of five missions sees players helping Dax and the Fooliganz deal with the fallout from their rise in the drug trade and confront new, powerful adversaries, including the return of Dr. Isiah Friedlander. These missions feature unique, often psychedelic, gameplay sequences.

How to start The Last Dose missions?

To start The Last Dose missions:

  • Players must have completed all six "First Dose" missions.
  • After a short period, Dax will call the player, initiating the first mission of The Last Dose series, "This is an Intervention." If the call doesn't come through, visiting the Freakshop might sometimes trigger the start of these missions.
